Health & Safety

SiS provides both training and advice in health and safety management, in particular hazard management and control. SiS is a NZQA accredited training provider for health and safety training up to level 6 on the NZQA Directory of Assessment Standards (DAS).

Training programmes can be offered to provide either national certificates or individual unit standards up to Level 6 (or equivalent non-unit standard training).

In addition to this SiS can provide expert advice / consultancy in:

• the identification and management of hazards
• the development of health and safety management systems
• accident and incident reporting
• injury management
• health and safety committee training
• HACCP
