Seafood retail

SiS Training & Consulting has been offering seafood retail training for many years. Training packages are primarily unit standard based and attract an Industry Training Organisation subsidy.

Training packages include:

  • Personal hygiene and hygienic work practices
  • Spoilage of fish and assessment of fish and shellfish quality
  • The set-up, maintenance, service and cleaning of a seafood display and service cases
  • Weighing, wrapping and packing seafood
  • Customer service
  • Food safety and compliance
  • Health and safety

SMS Training 2022.
Since 2019 we have delivered SMS and aviation safety programmes to hundreds of managers and employees in the aviation industry. Our aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS) courses are available via zoom classroom, and may be available face-to-face later in 2022.
