Aquaculture
SiS has been offering aquaculture training for many years.
Training packages available maybe either unit standard-based or can be tailor-made to meet specific company needs. Both theory and practical units may be included. Some examples of areas covered in past training packages include:
- Introduction to NZ / worldwide aquaculture
- Species biology
- Overviews of species culture in NZ
- Ecology and environmental management
- Water quality
- Legislation and regulations applicable to aquaculture
