Seafood retail
SiS Training & Consulting has been offering seafood retail training for many years. Training packages are primarily unit standard based and attract an Industry Training Organisation subsidy.
Training packages include:
- Personal hygiene and hygienic work practices
- Spoilage of fish and assessment of fish and shellfish quality
- The set-up, maintenance, service and cleaning of a seafood display and service cases
- Weighing, wrapping and packing seafood
- Customer service
- Food safety and compliance
- Health and safety
